I LOVE WEEKENDS!!!. That's right, I love them. On my previous diets, weekends would be my freebie days. I would work hard during the week, then on the weekends eat whatever, whenever I wanted. Not this time... I am sure that is why I didn't have much success before. Anyways, getting on with my day!. My hubs is a stud muffin, simple as that!. He woke up with our sweetie this morning so I could sleep in and believe me... I did!!. I got up around 11, that's right 11. You would think I would go for lunch at that hour, but nope... I cooked up my usual breakfast. I think the hubs was disappointed I didn't do my usual Saturday big fatty breakfast, but he is totally supporting me on this diet & in fact dieting with me. (for the most part) So because I had a late breakfast, I did not have a snack. Around 2 I had to head to Costco. I have been looking for Costco's shredded chicken EVERYWHERE, but have not found a place here in San Jose they sell it. Only in San Diego. It's slowly killing me that I can't find it, but again... that's off topic! By the time I got to Costco I realized I was pretty darn hungry. I kept walking by all the freebie stands as they are trying to shove food down my throat and I am proud to say I only accepted one small slice of ham. When I got to the checkout stand and the Costco food-court was right in front of me I had the strongest desire to order my usual, hot dog, coke & churro please! But, I didn't!. I did however get my tush in my car and hauled butt home for some lunch. I made it small because I knew it'd be dinner time before long. For dinner we had my new diet favorite, fajitas!. They are pretty darn healthy and SOOOOO tasty. I told myself because I was naughty last night I had to do a solid workout today and I did. I wo-man'd up and did the deck of cards with a LONG run. The hubs thinks I have done really well this week and says I should reward myself with a Magnum Ice Cream cone (since I have been craving it since Monday), but we'll see!. I may be able to go to bed without it. Ladies and Gents, here are my stats for the day...
Breakfast: 2 plain Eggs, a few Strawberries, a few pieces of Watermelon, a piece of plain Toast and an 8oz glass of milk.
Lunch: A Chicken Sandwich
Dinner: 2 chicken Fajitas.
Dessert: (maybe a magnum bar).....
Workout: Deck of cards and a mile run.
Until tomorrow.....
