Kaisi: Day 11

Hi everybody!. Man, I have been tired today! I woke up at 6 for work and was pretty darn hungry so I made my breakfast pretty quickly, same as always... eggs!. The morning went by quickly and before I knew it, it was lunch time. I had some corn on the cob I had gotten for our BBQ this weekend, but because of my hubs crazy school schedule we decided to put that off until next weekend so I needed to cook it up before it went bad. I decided I would have chicken and corn. It was pretty yummy and very filling. I had been working on a project later in the afternoon, so once again time flew... I had about an hour until my workout class so I ate a hard boiled egg. Spin class was nuts!. I hated it, but I loved it!. What a great way to burn extra calories going into the weekend. I had never done a spin class before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect... If you have the endurance, I definitely recommend it. It is mentally and physically challenging. When I got home I didn't want to have a big dinner since it was later, so I went to my go-to dinner lately... Slim-fast. I have been cleaning up the house since I put our little girl to bed at nine and I know it is lame to call that any kind of a workout, but at least it was more moving around. Here are my stats for the day....

Breakfast: 2 plain Eggs and a Banana
Lunch: Chicken, Corn on the Cob and 2 Hawaiian rolls.
Snack: Hard Boiled Egg
Dinner: Slim-fast

Workout: 1 hour of Spin.

I forgot to mention above... I have made the mistake of weighing myself during the week this week. When I am not constantly going down I get discouraged, so I need to remind myself to only weigh in once a week. It's always going to fluctuate day to day, but weighing in once a week will allow me to know if what I am doing is working. I also need to remind myself not to focus 100% on just the weight. I have been doing a lot of working out and I am sure that I am building muscle, so I need to pay attention to my measurements too. I am fine with my weight staying or slowly going as long as my measurements are shrinking also. Ultimately that is what I want is to be fitter and healthier. The weight is just a number... It's the number on the jean size that really matters!! :)

Until tomorrow....
