Today was such a beautiful day. James and I just hung out most of the day. We got a late start and didn't have breakfast til about 10. I switched my breakfast up a bit. Instead of cheerios with berries I cut up half of a banana for me and gave my little man the other half. It was a nice change although I don't think I will do that very often as bananas are higher in calories then my raspberries and strawberries. I was kinda surprised by this, I just assumed all fruits were created equal. Apparently not :) Anyhow, for lunch I had my chicken sandwich on the sandwich thin with pickles. Those sandwich thins are so yummy! For dinner we went out with the Crofts and ate at Mongolian BBQ. It is soooo GOOD and you can have so much for not very many calories! It is extremely filling! After dinner we went to the cutest park and let the boys (all 4 of them including the daddys) play. We had such a good time. After the park we were thinking Pink Berry sure sounded good, but it was almost night and the babies bedtime so we decided to be good parents and put our children to bed. But when I got home I had a sweet tooth so I did something about it. I got this new recipe for this chocolate cake that you make in a cup and bake it in the microwave, so I tried it out. It is 110 calories and has the texture of chocolate cake, looks a bit like chocolate cake, and it was good, but I think the Fiber One brownies are better and they are only 90 calories. I am feeling good about how I have been eating and how my clothes are starting to feel. I am so glad that we three are doing this! Shelley this was a FANTASTIC idea and thanks so much to both you ladies for helping me stay strong! Anyhow, here is my breakdown of food for today :
Breakfast : Cheerios, Skim Milk, 1/2 Banana 248 calories
Lunch : Chicken 1 oz, Laughing Cow Cheese, Pickle, Mustard, Sandwich Thin, 1/2 Cup Cantaloupe 200 calories
Dinner : Mongolian BBQ 500 calories
Snacks : Fuji Apple Slices, 5 Ritz Crackers (low sodium), Chocolate Cake 240 calories
All in all a very pleasant day! Until tomorrow . . . Happy Dieting!
