Kaisi: Day 4

First of all, Shelley... 5.2lbs down already? Way to go girl!!! I am super happy & proud of you.

Today I was on my B game. I say that because I didn't do my best, but I didn't do my worst either. I woke up at 6am and had a slimfast for breakfast. I was so busy with work I didnt realize how hungry I was getting and around 10am I was ready for my snack. I scooped a half a bowl of Cottage Cheese and Peaches, I am loving that snack lately. A few of the girls and I decided to do a pool day with the babies and I knew I wasn't going to make it through that without some lunch at some point, so I got some Subway!. I usually get a footlong and save the other 1/2 for later because that gives me two meals for $5. So without thinking I ordered a footlong and headed to the pool. I got there and my buggie bug was asleep, so I figured I would eat and then layout. I finished my first 1/2 real quick (I was pretty hungry.) When I got done I looked at the other half and realized I didn't have a fridge to put it in and it was going to go bad over the next few hrs in the sun. I thought, I am still hungry I'll just eat it... About 1/2 way through I thought to myself, my tummy is not a garbage disposal!. Why am I eating this just because I am worried it's going to go bad!. Ugh, I was disappointed in myself... Bad Kaisi!. I wrapped it up and tossed it in the trash. I also must confess I drank my first Diet Coke since Day 1. I told myself I could have 1 a day and I haven't had any until now, so I am proud of that. Tonight I had to take some friends dinner (they just had a baby.) I made them Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and I am proud to say I didn't snack on it AT ALL and I gave it ALL away. It's a different feeling cooking a yummy meal like that and not eating one bite. So for dinner I whipped out leftovers and had myself a chicken fajita. That's right, just one because I was naughty earlier. Sadie (my sweet little angel) was pretty fussy tonight and the hubs had to study for a test so I didn't get a very long workout in. I did the couch workout and then took Sadie for a 1/2 mile walk. No dessert again for me tonight.

So, all in all I am not stoked about my day, but no bummed either.

Katie & Shelley, I am loving reading your posts every night!. It makes it easier for me to get through the next day knowing I have someone going through this with me. I love reading about your temptations and triumphs!. It gives me strength. It is seriously becoming an exciting part of my day to write my story & read yours, what a great way to end each night.

Breakfast: Slim Fast
Snack: Cottage Cheese and Peaches
Lunch: Subway Sandwich, Baked Lays & a Diet Coke
Dinner: Chicken Fajita

  1. I am now going to think "my tummy is not a garbage disposal" every time I'm tempted to finish something because I don't want to "waste" it. That's my biggest issue, I really have to give myself permission not to finish things.
