Katie Day 13

It was ATTACK OF THE MUNCHIES for me today! I had my usual breakfast of cereal, fruit, and milk and then by mid morning I was way hungry so I had a Fiber One Brownie. Around lunch time I fed my little man some noodles and peaches. His mac and cheese looked soooo good to me so I had a bite. I then had another bite and was going for my third bite when I stopped myself and realized that I too needed to eat lunch and I could waste my calories or be good. I was good and made myself a chicken wrap. It wasn't as good as yesterday and after I ate it I wanted something more. So I drank some water :) We then went to costco and although I wanted everything that was being sampled I was strong and didn't have anything! I did however buy some more dried fruit and Fiber One Brownies. Dan hadn't eaten so he got in line and got a hot dog and a lemonade. Talk about torture!! I wanted a coke so badly but I knew if I gave into my craving I would be disappointed in myself. It took all my will power to get out of costco without buying something at the food counter. We got to the car and I opened up a bag of dried apples and ate those while my husband ate his mouth watering hot dog! Needless to say the apples didn't do the trick and my mouth was watering for a nice and greasy hot dog! However I stayed strong!! I didn't even have a small bite of Dans hot dog! I was complaining ALL the way home and I think we past every yummy looking restaurant in the Bay Area on the way home! I think the reason I was so hungry today was because I didn't drink enough water. Anyhow for dinner we went out :) But before we did we looked on line to see how many calories a Mongolian BBQ was. I had enough calories for the Mongolian BBQ and it totally hit the spot! I had lots of veggies a little chicken and a very little amount of noodles. YUM!! When we got home I still had some calories left over so I had some strawberry shortcake for dessert. Although today was tough I am happy to say that I stuck to my diet! And tonight I am so glad that I did! Since I already told you what I consumed today I am not going to write it all down again :) I will tell you that my calorie intake today came to 1215 calories! Tomorrow I am planning on drinking more water! Til tomorrow . . . Happy Dieting!
