Shelley: Day 21

Today was, eh. I got up early with the little guy because I thought it would be nice for Jason to sleep in. He's been working really hard and he needed the break.

By the time he woke up it was time to get moving and head to church. I made the mistake of not eating before church (which is 3 hours) and so by the second hour I was ready to eat the chair I was sitting on. However, as a mom of a nearly 1 year old I always have snacks so that wasn't necessary. I ate four or five goldfish crackers and that was enough to get me through until I got home and could have a proper meal.

Will was so tuckered out he passed out in my arms at 8:15pm tonight but is currently crying (I am going to make this quick so I can go take over if necessary, sometimes he really just wants Mom).

I can't tell you how grateful I am we are doing this blog. I wanted to be lazy tonight and not do the math on my calorie intake for today but because I know others are watching, I am here, and doing what needs to be done. If I don't write this down I can lie to myself and pretend I don't eat as much as I do which is how I got this way in the first place. So, THANK YOU Katie and Kaisi for keeping me honest!

Today's Food Summary:

Breakfast:
A slice of deLITE Chicken Artichoke Pizza (180cal)

Snack:
Garden Salad 2 tsp of Light Ranch (140cal)

Lunch:
A Slice of Pepperoni deLITE Pizza (170cal)

Snack:
A couple of gold fish crackers but these are included in my snitching tally for the day.
4 Cinnamon Bears (140cal)

Dinner:
5 Adele's Chicken Meatballs and Marinara
Sauce (420cal)

Snack:
2 Cups Chicken Broth (10cal)
Small Low-Sodium V8 (30cal)

BMR CALC: 1700-1390=310 Deficit (I added 300cal for misc snitches of my little guy's food.)
(For an explanation please see Shelley: Day 1 Post) Also, I updated my BMR from 1760 to 1700. As I lose weight that number will continue to fall.
