Shelley: Day 19


So today is totally confession time. Today, I did something I would not normally condone and would certainly not encourage. I ate only one real meal for the day and it was a doosey.

Will and I started the day kind of late and by the time we got out the door I had completely forgotten to eat breakfast. I did remember to feed Will at least ;). We went to my cousin Heather's house and James, Will and I hung out at the park while Katie got her haircut. I was worried it might be a total disaster because my little guy can be a bit into everything and being out and about was a little intimidating with two littles. However, it was really fun. It was kind of a long walk to the park since I only used a stroller for James and my Will is no pixi. On the way home I let Will ride on top of the stroller while I held him in place. They had a great time and I have gained hope that when we are ready for another kid it won't be a total disaster!

Since we were at Heather's I had her give Will his first haircut too (it was getting ragged). By then it was almost one and I was starving but Will was exhausted so I figured I'd feed him a bottle as we drove and he would crash in the car, which he did. I didn't want to wake him and at this point I would have eaten a dirty shoe I was so hungry. So I did the unthinkable, In-N-Out, yep, you read it correctly. I could have gotten it protein style and done it so much healthier than I did, but I didn't, there it is. As a consequence I didn't want to eat for the rest of the day because I'd already used most of my calories for the day. I had a special veggie pizza slice as a late snack and then some chicken broth to help myself feel fuller. I won't be doing this again and I seriously considered omitting this little episode but I decided I committed to be honest, so here we are.

Today's Food Summary:

Breakfast:
Totally forgot. . .OOPS. (0cal)

Snack:
Didn't get to this one either. . . (0cal)

Lunch:
In-N-Out Cheeseburger w/half of the fries Well Well Well (they are so much better that way) (1054cal, and prob more fat that I'd like to think about).

Snack:
Skipped (see lunch)

Dinner:
Special Veggie Pizza (250cal)

Snack:
Chicken Broth (10)
Half of a Fiber One Brownie (45cal)

BMR CALC: 1700-1459= 241 Deficit (I added 100cal for misc snitches of my little guy's food.)
(For an explanation please see Shelley: Day 1 Post) Also, I updated my BMR from 1760 to 1700. As I lose weight that number will continue to fall.
