Shelley: Day 30

Kaite, I loved reading your post! It's so good to hear/read your enthusiasm. I'm so glad we all decided to do this together. It's been so much more effective and fun! Also, since we share so many meals it's nice that we're both on the same page. Dieting with friends is the way to go for sure!

Kaisi, I can't wait until you get back. We are long overdue for a BBQ. Drive Safe!

I have been thinking a lot and I can't believe how quickly my little guy has grown up. In only two days he'll be a year old! Where do the hours go??? I'm really grateful I'm working not to spend any more time feeling annoyed that I'm a chunkster. The saying that you're either moving forward or backward is so true. There really isn't such a thing as stationary in life or dieting.

Today, most of my calories were consumed in the afternoon because I was so busy with the little guy. I shared a banana with my little guy for breakfast (he also had a bread and cream cheese sami) and meant to get something else for myself but didn't get around to it. I was so busy I didn't eat much at all until dinner when I was sooooo hungry. Thank goodness Katie and crew had a yummy meal waiting for us! I brought some weight watchers treats for dessert that are one of my favorite things when I'm craving cake-like stuff. They come in two flavors, lemon and chocolate and I kind of love the lemon more. I know, hard to believe, especially coming from me. So, all in all, another great day!

Today's Food Summary:

Breakfast:
A shared banana with my little man (75cal), I'm taking ownership of all the cals as I don't think he ate that much.

Snack:
Missed my AM snack.

Lunch:
2oz canned chicken with freeze dried red onion, dill relish, carrots, mustard and light ranch dressing (200cal)

Snack:
One Serving of Cheese-its (yeah, I know, but I didn't have any other snacks and I was ready to eat the steering wheel), (150cal)

Dinner:
Squash, two chicken patties, & pineapple (535cal)
1 weight watchers cake (80cal)

Snack:
Costco Frozen Yogurt Shared with my husband, again I'll take ownership of all the cals because I like to estimate high (390cal)

BMR CALC: 1691-1530=161 Deficit (I added 100cal for misc snitches of my little guy's food.)
(For an explanation please see Shelley: Day 1 Post) Also, I updated my BMR from 1760 to 1691. As I lose weight that number will continue to fall.

Until Tomorrow. . .
