Today was a great day. I just love Friday's, knowing the whole weekend is ahead of you. I woke up this morning and made my usual eggs and toast. I am starting to get bored with eating the same thing over and over though, I think it's about time to switch it up a bit. After I got off work I needed to go to the store so I grabbed a handful of almonds and headed out the door. I dropped our car off for an oil change and they told me it was going to be an hour or two before it was ready for pickup so Sadie and I went for a walk. We walked about a 1/2 mile to Subway for lunch then about a 1/4 mile to Ross to do some good ol' fashion shopping. By the time we got back to Walmart they still were not done with the oil change so Sadie and I walked around Walmart for about another 45 minutes. Needless to say, we got a lot of walking in today. When I got home, the hubs was home for a few so I asked him to watch the baby so I could get a quick workout in. Slim-fast for dinner, as usual. I am not getting sick of that meal though, I LOVE me some milk chocolate slim-fast!. Here are my stats for the day...
Breakfast: 2 plain Eggs with a piece of plain wheat toast and an 8oz glass of milk.
Snack: Handful of almonds.
Lunch: Tuna sami with a few bites of cheesy broccoli soup and a piece of wheat bread.
Dinner: Slim-Fast
Workout: Loads of walking, at home ab workout and a 30 minute walk/run.
